On a rainy day, we stood on the sidelines watching our son, Zachy, play the sport he has loved for years. Rain or shine, he keeps showing up—running, learning, encouraging his teammates, and giving his best.
As parents, watching his commitment to soccer makes us incredibly proud. His determination reminds us that meaningful things are built little by little: through discipline, teamwork, patience, and the courage to keep going when conditions are not easy.
Zachy has also taught our family a great deal. His ideas have helped us learn new ways of thinking, communicating, and connecting with people. He has even taken the initiative to create his own business, Pittsford Tea House, showing the same creativity and drive that he brings to the field.
At New Chinatown, our family believes that a restaurant is about more than food. It is about serving people with care, working together, staying grateful, and giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years.
Our family is grounded in Christian faith, and we pray that Zachy will continue to grow into a person who uses his gifts to make a positive difference—whether in our local community, in his future work, or wherever God leads him.
We are proud of the athlete, young entrepreneur, and caring person he is becoming. Thank you to every coach, teammate, teacher, friend, and customer who encourages young people to keep learning, keep serving, and keep moving forward.
